Daybreak Farms is recruiting for General Assistant [x6 posts] | APPLY WIH GRADE 12

DAYBREAK FARMS seeks a well-qualified, motivated, and results-driven candidate to fill the above-mentioned vacant position.

Requirements:

• Grade 12

• 1-2 Years within a manufacturing industry.

• Good communication skills

• Able to work under pressure

• Team player

• Attention to detail and highly motivated.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

• Point of laying preparation

• Follow correct egg collection procedure according to SOP.

• Ensure all eggs are collected regularly to limit breakages.

• Depleting chicks during night shift.

• Manage nest boxes.

• Selection of injured and unhealthy birds from the main flock to the cullpen and record.

• Report egg shortages to the Supervisors.

• Receive chicks from rearing during nightshift.

• Receive male feed and shaving from service and distribute it accordingly.

• Follow SOPs

• Grading eggs as per standard..

• Transfer eggs from setters to hatchers.

• Hatch take-off as per standard.

• Work as directed by Supervisors.

• Maintain good hygiene and bio-security.

• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations.
