Eastern Cape Department of Health Announces Nurse Training Intake 2024. The Eastern Cape Department of Health is actively recruiting candidates for the 2024 intake for the Three-Year Diploma in Nursing at Lilitha College of Nursing.
Applications are invited from dedicated and compassionate individuals interested in pursuing a career in the nursing profession within the Eastern Cape Province or upgrading their current nursing status.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must submit a well-written application letter along with the following documents:
- Certified copy of a valid Grade 12 certificate with an aggregate of D or EIS (750 and above) – old certificate.
- Certified Grade 12 Mid-year results for Scholars.
- Compulsory subjects in the certificate: English Level 4 and above/D symbol, Biology (Life Sciences) Level 4 and above/D symbol. Other science subjects (Physical Science, Mathematics/Maths Lit, Geography, Agricultural, Computer, Life Orientation) will be an added advantage.
- Certified copy of study leave or a letter from the supervisor indicating that study leave is being processed for serving officers.
- Certified copy of identity document.
- Certified copy of a marriage certificate.
- Curriculum vitae with reliable contact numbers and a clear physical address indicating the catchment area.
- Original bank copy of a R50.00 deposit slip as proof of the non-refundable application fee.
