Job Purpose

As an ATM Assistant, your role is to provide clients with a warm welcome, ensure efficient queue management, offer assistance at the ATM, and facilitate transactions on various remote or self-service channels.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum: No previous experience required, but candidates must possess a Grade 12 National Certificate.
  • Ideal: At least one year of client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment.
• Qualifications (Minimum): Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• Knowledge:
  • Minimum: Basic calculations, how to engage with people, clarity, understanding of personal aspirations, ambition, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ideal: Knowledge of bank branch operations, familiarity with Capitec Bank products, and internal business processes.
• Skills:
  • Communication Skills
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills
  • Problem-Solving Skills
  • Attention to Detail

Conditions of Employment

• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Fingerprints must be detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
