On or before the day of the interview, shortlisted candidates must submit a certified copy of their Identity Document, Senior Certificate, and highest required qualifications, as well as their driver’s license if necessary. Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by a SAQA evaluation report.
Applications not complying with the above specifications will be disqualified. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical and competency assessment. All SMS applicants must have a preentry certificate issued by the National School of Government (NSG).
The candidate must complete a financial disclosure form as well as undergo a security clearance. When shortlisted, foreigners or dual citizens must provide a police clearance certificate from their country of origin.
