FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS

Core elements of job:

• Knowledge of safety management (SLAM, JSA, major hazards)

• Create job cards after inspecting equipment for deviations

• Spares management in section

• Plan maintenance and manage maintenance feedback

• Check the quality of work done by other artisans in the section

• Perform on-the-job coaching and training on other artisans and learners

• Perform standby duties for the foreman

• Assume the foreman’s responsibilities when he is away

• Work management assistance for the foreman

• Excellent housekeeping skills and ability to maintain high standards

• Troubleshooting machinery faults

General:

• Assertiveness is high

• Mentor and coach who is good

• Planned and managed large tasks well

• I am currently employed as a Senior Artisan: Electro Mechanic

• Knowledge of COPs and SOPs related to specific jobs

• Standards must be maintained at all times

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

• Grade 12/N3 or equivalent (with Mathematics, Science, and English)

• (Electro Mechanic (E/M)) A valid trade test certificate

• (Wish) Computer literate

• Driver’s license in good standing

• Electro Mechanic experience of 3 years (internal and external) is typical of a senior artisan.

• Testing Certificate for Gases

• Certificate of flame resistance

• Access and navigation in SAP

• The ticket is valid in red

• It is crucial to have experience with section conveyors

• An understanding of the work management process and how to implement it (Wish)
