In addition to mining, ship conversions, upgrades, and maintenance, large project management, engineering design and mining system equipment builds, we manage marine exploration, geophysical surveys, sampling, and mining equipment builds and upgrades.
Through leading-edge research and development, DBM develops the world’s most successful and technologically advanced marine mining equipment and operations.
Description of the Job:
To ensure continuous improvement in operational efficiency, you will develop new technical software systems, enhance current technical software systems, and maintain current technical software systems as needed.
This role requires high levels of individual contribution and good application of both theoretical and practical knowledge when it comes to innovating and solving problems.
A trip to Namibia will be required to commission and support software systems at Namibian offshore installations.

Qualifications & minimum criteria
- The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in Computer Science (or equivalent qualification) or the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
- An undergraduate degree in technology
- As a Candidate Engineer registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), you will be in a better position to obtain the job
- Within the past two years, you have completed your degree.
- Experience in the relevant field should not exceed two years.
