ATNS 2024 Air Traffic Services Officer Bursary Programme

The ATSO bursary covers comprehensive support:

  • Studies at the ATNS Aviation Training Academy (ATA) in Bonaero Park, Johannesburg
  • Accommodation, transportation, meals, a monthly allowance, and non-academic activities

PROGRAMME OUTLINE

  1. Core Content Course: 21-week theory-based foundation course
  2. ATS Rating Course: Practical course complementing theory training
  3. ATS Validation: On-the-Job-Training practical module

During the Core Content and ATS Rating courses, bursars receive monthly allowances and support.

The ATS validation phase occurs at either OR Tambo International or Cape Town International airports, transitioning bursars to a fixed-term contract without certain benefits.

Minimum qualifications:
