Duties and Responsibilities
This 12-month formal program aims to provide work experience and knowledge acquisition in Procurement within the Finance Department. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Procurement Specialist with daily activities like query resolution, procurement administration, vendor sourcing, bid issuance, and moderation.
- Handling contracts administration, drafting and expediting contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines.
- Updating databases, collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing queries, and engaging in Supplier Relationship Management.
Qualifications and Competencies
Applicants should hold a relevant Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Procurement, or related fields.
Competency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and knowledge of SAP are advantageous. South African citizenship is required.
Key competencies include customer orientation, problem-solving, effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
