Enaex Africa Explosives Operator Community Learnerships 2023/2024
Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to all customer rules and procedures when operating at customer sites.
- Collaborate with the Explosives Controller in routine fault finding, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on the MMU process plant and chassis.
- Support the Site Administrator in stock control activities.
- Safely load and unload the MMU with the correct raw materials.
- Close blast holes using the appropriate stemming material.
- Act as a blast guard when required.
- Conduct cleaning and decontamination of the MMU.
- Identify and report any abnormal conditions on the MMU and within the work area to the Explosives Controller and/or Site Supervisor.
- Maintain ownership of bulk explosives MMU through good housekeeping of the cab, chassis, and plant.
Requirements
To be eligible for the Explosives Operator Community Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Reside in the Northern Cape Province and surrounding communities.
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have completed N3 or Grade 12.
- Possess a clear criminal record.
- Be medically fit for duty.
