About EWSETA
Established under the Skills Development Act of 1998, EWSETA is one of the 21 Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) mandated to enhance skills development.
Reporting to the Honourable Minister of the Department of Higher Education and Training, EWSETA plays a pivotal role in driving employment equity and fostering skills development within the energy and water sectors.

Internship Requirements
If you are a young, qualified individual, seize the opportunity to join our internship program for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 Fiscal Years.
This initiative aims to provide valuable experience and contribute to the growth of various sectors. Internship positions are available in areas such as Human Resources, ICT and Facilities, Marketing, Skills Planning,
Energy Sector, Water Sector, Financial Management, and Supply Chain Management.
EWSETA welcomes applications from University Graduates, University of Technology, and T-VET Colleges students.
Priority consideration will be given to University of Technology and T-VET college students requiring in-service training to complete their qualifications.
