Haval Motor Mechanic Apprentice Training Programme 2024
Haval – Kempton Park provides an Accredited Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) Apprenticeship, blending on-the-job training (OJT) with classroom instruction supervised by a Qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic.
Imperial Technical Training Academy (ITTA) delivers theoretical education at Ext 4, 16 Dakota Cres, Airport Park, Johannesburg, 1401.

SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The CBMT contract with merSETA and a learnership contract with Lindsay Saker Kempton Park will be applicable, adhering to specified terms and conditions. MIBCO minimum wages apply for CBMT Apprentices.
Training Program
- Levels 1 – 4: 4-year contract
- 5 days in 5 weeks training at ITTA.
- Distance learning program – CDX
- Computer-based testing and examination.
- Practical competency testing
- MIBCO
- On-the-job experience in Haval Service department aligned to CBMT program competence levels.
- Portfolio of evidence gathering as required by ITTA.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric (N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, and English – 50% essential)
- Driver’s license
- Computer literacy
- Successful completion of a mechanical insight test
- Standard background checks and medical assessment for fitness for work.
