Limpopo Treasury: Internal Audit Technician Learnership Programme 2023/25
With integrated skills development, Limpopo Treasury aims to improve youth employment and service delivery.
Thus, we invite suitably qualified graduates to apply for twenty (20) Internal Audit Technician Learnerships.
Minimum Requirements:
You should have an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) recognized by SAQA. A qualification in Internal Auditing / Auditing / Accounting / Risk Management / Financial Information Systems / Financial Management / Commercial Law is an added advantage.
The following professional qualifications are among my career goals: PIA/CIA/CISA/CFE.
Skills & Knowledge:
Exceptional academic performance with planning, organizing, and analyzing skills. Good command of the English language.
Ability to meet personal work goals and objectives. Ability to work well with others under pressure. Ability to communicate information effectively. Ability to meet deadlines and meet customer expectations.
Duties: Key Performance Areas:
Assist Senior Internal Auditors with audit assignments according to approved audit plans.
Assist Senior Internal Auditors in preparing audit working papers in accordance with IIA Standards. Uphold the Code of Ethics of the Institute of Internal Auditors SA.
Conditions for Internal Audit Technician Learnership Programme:
South African citizens and residents of Limpopo between the ages of 22 and 35 are eligible to apply.
Applicants should not have completed an IAT learning programme before. Please attach proof of residence or a letter of confirmation from the local municipality.
Upon acceptance, each candidate will sign a 24-month contract with the department and attend module training sessions facilitated by the Leadership Academy for Guardians of Governance.
