Office Administrator Position at PanSALB – Join the Language Board’s Mission
As an Office Administrator, your role will involve managing the Provincial Manager’s schedule, providing secretarial services, and executing various administrative tasks within the Division.
You will also handle information gathering, document typing, report compilation, and record keeping following standard operating procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Diary Management: Efficiently manage the Provincial Manager’s schedule and provide secretarial support to the Division.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings and appointments, coordinate logistical arrangements, and ensure all necessary information is available for meetings.
- Front Office Operations: Manage the switchboard, screen and receive visitors, and provide office secretarial services, record management, and filing.
- Professional Image: Maintain a professional image for PanSALB at all times.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date with developments and changes in the Division and the organization as a whole.
- Teamwork: Actively share workload and responsibilities as needed.
- Performance Management: Take ownership of your work, performance, and development.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly and ad hoc reports.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or Matric certificate.
- National Diploma in Administration or Secretariat Diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years’ secretarial/administration work experience.
