Embark on a Developmental Journey in the Mining Environment

Learn through experiential learning about the Mining Environment field.
Complete a structured development program within 42 months to qualify for a significant role within Seriti.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities and Development Opportunities:

Present key learnings to the Operational Management Team after completing each phase.
Identify a project at the beginning of the second year of the developmental program for presentation upon program completion.
Actively participate in formal courses, seminars, and other developmental opportunities.
Assume other roles within the discipline when required and meet role expectations in an acting capacity.
Propose and participate in improvement or value-add projects through research, benchmarking, and networking.
Identify and engage with a technical coach and mentor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for Rock Engineering Internship:

BSc in Engineering (Mining) / BSc Geology (Hons) / BEng Tech (Hons).
Candidates in their final year of the Intern / Graduate Program (Mining / Geology).
Strong references from previous employers or learning institutions.
Proven completion of a relevant project related to the field of study.
Demonstrated theoretical knowledge in the field of study.
Maturity and eagerness to learn.
Self-starter with motivation.
Business writing skills.
Planning and organizational skills.
Computer skills (MS Office).
Valid driver’s license.
In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness.

Advantageous:

Prior temporary working experience in the field of study.
Basic knowledge of Seriti business principles and values.
Understanding of the Seriti core value chain and operational codes of practices, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
