Keeping in line with the company’s mission of providing energy to sustainable communities, Exxaro Coal, Grootegeluk Complex is offering learnership opportunities for engineering students.
Exxaro Resources Engineering Learnerships for 2023
An integrated approach to learning is used in the Learnership programme, which combines structured unit standard-based learning with workplace experience and practical learning. Employability equity candidates in line with BU’s EE Plan will be given preference.
Eligible Candidates Must Meet the Following Minimum Qualifications:
Diesel
- A minimum of 40% in Grade 12 (Technical)
- English as a business language/English as a communication language N3
- Students in Grade 12 will take English / Mathematics, Physical Science, Mechanical Technology, and Technical Drawing courses
Electrician
- A minimum of 40% in Grade 12 (Technical)
- Business English/Communication Level 3/Level 4
- Students in Grade 12 will take English / Mathematics, Physical Science, Mechanical Technology, and Technical Drawing courses
Fitter
- A minimum of 40% in Grade 12 (Technical)
- English as a business language/English as a communication language N3
- Students in Grade 12 will take English / Mathematics, Physical Science, Mechanical Technology, and Technical Drawing courses
Plater- Welder
- A minimum of 40% in Grade 12 (Technical)
- The N3 Business English Information Technology 44 Communication course
- Students in Grade 12 will take English / Mathematics, Physical Science, Mechanical Technology, and Technical Drawing courses
