About the Program:

Traineeships are available at the following Breweries:

  • Newlands Brewery, Cape Town (Western Cape)
  • Ibhayi Brewery, Gqeberha (Eastern Cape)
  • Prospecton Brewery, Durban (Kwa-Zulu Natal)
  • Polokwane Brewery, (Limpopo)
  • Rosslyn Brewery, Pretoria (Gauteng)
  • Alrode Brewery, Alberton (Gauteng)
  • Chamdor Brewery, Krugersdorp (Gauteng)

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Being a member of a team, including acting in a team
  • Project participation aligned with program requirements and priorities in the Plant environment
  • Identifying and troubleshooting systemic problems and situations
  • Learnings and solutions are communicated across the company at all levels
  • Passionate, curious, courageous, and resilient, capable of overcoming challenges and determined to succeed

Profile

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (from a recognized tertiary institution) in any of the following fields:

  • Chemical
  • Industrial
  • Mechatronic/Electromechanical
  • Mechanical
  • Power/Electrical
  • Food Sciences/Technology
  • The applicant must have no more than two years of formal working experience by the start of the program. (Internships, vacations, and short-term contracts are not permitted)
  • The right to work legally (full citizenship)
  • Within South Africa, there is a high degree of geographic mobility
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to new systems and proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
