Standard Bank Voice Branch Learnership Programme 2024

This learnership program is tailored for individuals passionate about customer engagement, sales, and service.

It offers hands-on experience in customer interactions within a contact center environment and transactional banking.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore various roles within the Voice Branch.

Duties and Responsibilities

Participants will undergo a comprehensive Banking qualification at an NQF level 5, enabling FAIS accreditation and access to banking employment across South Africa.

The program focuses on:

  • Understanding the Banking value chain
  • Developing strong Sales and Service Skills
  • Analyzing and Processing information
  • Grasping the Financial and Regulatory framework
  • Meeting Customer Demands with appropriate solutions
  • Resolving client inquiries
  • Cultivating strong customer relationships
  • Effective workload prioritization and time management
  • Maintaining high standards of sales and service in correspondence and communication
  • Polishing telephone and email etiquette

Qualifications

Applicants should have completed a post-Matric 3-year Finance/Banking related qualification.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must:

  • Be South African Citizens
  • Be aged between 18 and 30
  • Possess proficient English language skills (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Be computer literate
  • Not be permanently employed
  • Not be enrolled in any other institution
