Supervisor: Registration Services Post at the Department of Employment and Labour
Requirements:
Three (3) year National Diploma (NQF6)/Undergraduate Bachelor Degree (NQF7) in Business Administration/Management; Public Administration/Management; Operations Management. Two (2) years’ experience in registration services. Knowledge:
All Labour legislations and Regulations, Private Employment Agency regulations and related ILO conventions, Batho Pele Principles, Public Services Act, Public Service Regulations, Understanding of Departmental Policies, Procedures and Guidelines. The following skills are essential: problem-solving, computer literacy, interpersonal skills, listening, communicating, ability to interpret legislation, telephone etiquette, mediation, and analytical skills.
Duties:
At the first point of entry into Registration Service, oversee the help desk. Oversee the employment services provided to all clients. Monitor the application process for unemployment insurance benefits and employer declarations. Check and analyse the application of Compensation for Injury and Disease Act (COIDA) and employer registration forms for COIDA. Respond to all complaints concerning legislation and follow up on pending complaints. Manage resources.

Selection panels will recommend candidates to attend DPSA SMS competency assessment tools to assess generic managerial competencies following the interview and technical exercise.
