21 Cleaner Positions Available at Department of Higher Education and Training. The Department of Higher Education and Training, in partnership with Western TVET College, is seeking qualified individuals to apply for the position of Cleaner [x21 posts].

• POSITION: CLEANERS (SALARY LEVEL 2)
• SALARY: R125 373.00 per annum

• CORPORATE OFFICE: 1 post (Ref: CORP/SUP/CLEANER/36)
• KRUGERSDORP CENTRAL: 3 posts (Ref: KC/SUP/CLEANER/37)
• KRUGERSDORP WEST: 2 posts (Ref: KW/SUP/CLEANER/38)
• RANDFONTEIN: 7 posts (Ref: RFT/SUP/CLEANER/39)
• WESTONARIA: 3 posts (Ref: WES/SUP/CLEANER/40)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining cleanliness by performing various cleaning duties such as dusting, waxing, sweeping, scrubbing, and waste disposal.
• Cleaning office furniture, walls, windows, and floors.
• Freshening office areas and cleaning kitchen spaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 10 or ABET Level 4
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety requirements
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

• Commitment, hardworking nature, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of hygiene policies and legislation
• Understanding of relevant procedures and regulations
