Experience in remuneration and benefits administration for at least two years, exposure to human resources management framework on benefit administration, and knowledge of PILIR and probation.
Duties
DUTIES: Some key outputs include: Human Resources Benefits Administration; Administer all newly appointed employees’ benefits requirements and advise clients accordingly, Implement operational processes and procedures efficiently, provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding leave days, etc.
Manage and monitor HR System Change Control (SCC) of employee Service Records and PERSAL profiles for conformity, and perform self-audits on benefits provision.
The implementation of employee benefits in accordance with DPSA resolutions and broader compensation frameworks. The administration and processing of all employee benefits in accordance with policies and procedures.
Provide assistance and advice to internal clients regarding PILIR processes related to incapacity leave, assist internal audit with the provision of information.
Conduct ICT assessments of outstanding probation reports for finalization, Analyze the validity of probationary reports and scrutinize remarks for implementation, Advise on the extension of probationary periods, Analyze reports, trends, and follow-up on outstanding reports negatively influence potential appointment of employees.
Engagement of stakeholders; Consult clients on outstanding documents for appointment, Provide feedback on progress of benefits due for implementation, Engage and provide solutions to clients who have questions about benefits, Liaise with GEPF (GPAA), GEMS, SOMA and other external service providers for outstanding cases.
