Capricorn District Municipality Seeks 100 Waste Campaigners. Capricorn District Municipality, in collaboration with the National Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE), is actively seeking 100 dedicated Waste Campaigners to join their ranks.

Capricorn District Municipality is inviting applications from qualified, unemployed graduates in the field of Environmental Management.

This opportunity is part of a Youth Empowerment and Development Programme designed to run for a maximum of 18 months. Successful candidates will be contributing to initiatives that extend until 31 March 2025.

• Remuneration: R224.00 per day

Qualified graduates residing within the local municipality areas of the district are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity.

Capricorn, established in 2000, is a Category B municipality located in the heart of the Limpopo Province, Northern South Africa.

Predominantly rural, the district comprises five local municipalities: Aganang, Blouberg, Lepelle-Nkumpi, Molemole, and Polokwane.

These municipalities vary significantly in terms of their levels of socio-economic development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must hold qualifications in Environmental Management.
• South African citizenship, with a valid SA Identity Document, is mandatory.
