Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the Cleaner position include, but are not limited to:
- Wiping and mopping floors
- Cleaning lockers, steel dust bins, and basins
- Proper usage of equipment and chemicals
- Cleaning toilets and maintaining checklists
- Replacing hand towels and refilling soap bottles
- Cleaning lockers, bedsteads, curtain rails, and trolleys
- Performing terminal cleaning and disinfection
- Ensuring the safekeeping of cleaning equipment/material
- Laundry duties
Qualification and KnowledgeTo be eligible for this position, candidates must have:
- Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent
- Cleaning/laundry experience in a hospital/clinical environment (recommended)
- Knowledge of customer service, self-drive, and motivation
- Ability to read, write, and work well within a team
- Availability for shift work
