The application deadline is 14th December 2023.
This scheme provides comprehensive bursaries to eligible individuals from historically disadvantaged backgrounds living within the Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality who aim to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at any public South African University.

Applicants must be South African citizens residing within the Dr JS Moroka Municipality.

- National Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
- National Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
- National Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Interested candidates can access bursary application forms via the Municipality’s website: www.moroka.gov.za or through a provided link.
Alternatively, forms are available for collection at Municipal Offices in Siyabuswa, Mbibane Unit Office, or Mathanjana Unit Office.
Applicants must hand-deliver completed forms and all required documents to the Municipal offices (HQ – Siyabuswa, Mbibane Unit Office, or Mathanjana Unit Office).
The application should include a certified copy of the ID, a residential confirmation letter from the Ward Councillor, and the latest Grade 11 results (for current learners) or Matric results / latest university results (for applicants who have already completed their studies).
