Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

  • Supporting the implementation of Human Resource Administration practices at the school level.
  • Providing financial management support at the school level.
  • Capturing learner and educator data on SASAMS.
  • Managing office resources and assets in the school.
  • Performing general administration and support services.
  • Procuring goods and services for the school.
  • Taking minutes of meetings and handling information and correspondence.


To be eligible for the position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant experience, especially within a school environment, is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good customer care skills and interpersonal relations.
  • Understanding of the principles of sound document management.
