Job Opportunity of Nursing Assistant at Northern Cape Department of Health
Requirements
Candidates must possess a qualification enabling registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
Additionally, registration with SANC as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
Experience requirements are as follows:
- Grade 1: None
- Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years’ experience after SANC registration as a nursing assistant
- Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years’ experience after SANC registration as a Nursing Assistant
Duties
The duties of the Nursing Assistant include:
- Assisting patients with daily activities
- Providing elementary clinical nursing care
- Maintaining professional, ethical growth, and seeking self-development
- Assisting in the management of material resources
