Monitor, operate, and inspect plants according to procedures.

Minimum Requirements

•  Grade 12 / N3 with maths and science
• Plus NQF4 – National Diploma in Fossil Power Plant Operation

Experience

• 2 Years Learner Plant Operator / Plant Operator Experience

Skills and Competencies

• Leadership
• Communication
• Computer Literacy

Knowledge

• Flip defect and log writing skills
• Fire Fighting

• Perform Plant Routine Checks
• Prepare Plant for Service
• Perform Operating Activities
• Form Part of the Fire and Rescue Team as Required
• Perform Any Other Legitimate Activity as Required
