Illovo Sugar Announces Manager-in Training Programme 2024

The Manager-in-Training (MIT) programme at Illovo Sugar South Africa (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications from qualified individuals in various engineering disciplines.

This well-structured programme provides graduates with the opportunity to apply their studies practically and gain experience over a maximum period of three years.

Upon successful completion of the programme and satisfactory performance, Trainees may be appointed to a First Line Manager or Middle Manager position if available.

Recruitment aligns with Illovo SA’s employment equity targets.

Qualifications & RequirementsTo be eligible for the MIT programme, applicants must have:

  • Matric senior certificate with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English
  • A relevant engineering BSc or BTech degree
  • South African citizenship

Graduates with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in the following fields are encouraged to apply:

  • Electrical Engineering (1 position)
  • Mechanical Engineering (2 positions)
  • Chemical Engineering (2 positions)
