Job Opportunity of Professional Nurse (General Nursing) – Northern Cape Department of Health

Requirements:

• Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• Experience:
  • Grade 1: None
  • Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience after SANC registration.
  • Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years’ relevant experience after SANC registration.

Duties:

• Provide direction and supervision for the implementation of nursing plans.
• Implement standard practices and indicators for quality nursing.
• Practice nursing and healthcare in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain constructive working relationships with nursing and other stakeholders.
• Efficiently utilize human, material, and physical resources and conduct equipment inventory.
