Under the Engineering Profession Act 46 of 2000, the Engineering Profession Act 46 of 2000 mandates the ECSA with the regulatory responsibility of the engineering profession.
ECSA’s primary responsibility is to regulate engineering professionals in accordance with this Act. Engineering programs are accredited, professional registrations are made, and the practice of registered professionals is regulated.
There are currently a number of positions available at ECSA. ECSA Employment Equity Requirements will govern the appointment.
Intern: ICT Projects Assistant
A position has become available for an Intern: ICT Projects Assistant. Interns will actively participate in meaningful projects and work closely with mentors and senior ICT management.
It is expected that the successful candidate will report to the Manager: Information and Communications Technology.
Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 (NQF level 4)

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems;

Familiar with Agile Project Management methodology, concepts and software tools

Basic understanding of software development, business analysis or data analytics concepts

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work well in teams

Strong work ethic and attention to detail;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Organised and reliable;
