New job vacancies at South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA)
The South African Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for overseeing civil aviation and investigating aviation accidents. There is a branch office in Waterfall Park, Midrand, near Johannesburg, in the Ikhaya Lokundiza Building 16.
SACAA appointments are subject to S98 of the Civil Aviation Act of 2009, 13 of 2009, and all successful candidates will be vetted for security reasons.
Candidates who meet the Employment Equity Plan will be given priority. Applicants who have not heard from SACAA 90 days after the closing date should consider their application unsuccessful.
Administration Officer (Candidate with a disability)
Administrative Officers provide administrative and clerical support to both employees and management, both internal and external clients.
The administrator’s ultimate goal is to ensure that the daily administrative processes of the department or division run smoothly and efficiently
Education: Minimum

Grade 12, with a certificate in Office Administration as an advantage
Ideal

Diploma in Office Administration/Secretary or Office Management
Experience

Inspector: Non-Scheduled Operations and General Aviation
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Implement Part 114 and other related Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs) in compliance with Civil Aviation Act, No. 13 of 2009.
Strengthen the national aviation system by promoting aviation security.
Minimum Qualification:

Relevant National Diploma or NQF level 6 qualification

Aviation Security or Safety/Security Quality Management Systems (Airport or Airline Operations) certificates
Experience:
-
3 years Aviation Security experience OR
-
5 years Aviation Safety experience

Supporting SACAA with legal and technical services, ensuring its legal protection.
Minimum Qualification

B Proc or LLB; admitted as a Legal Practitioner (Attorney or Advocate) (successfully completed pupillage with a recognized advocates’ association)
Ideal Qualification

LLM Degree, Diploma or certificate in Legislative drafting, or Contract Drafting or Constitutional Interpretation

Legislative and/or Contract Drafting Diploma/Certificate
Experience

5 years – Legal Practitioner (Attorney or Advocate), relevant exposure to among others Interpretation of statutes, Admin Law, Commercial Law, and litigation

The Internal Auditor: Finance and Performance performs assigned internal audit engagements and ad-hoc projects in accordance with the Risk-based Internal Audit Plan approved by the Senior Internal Auditor.
Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor of Commerce degree /Bachelor of Technology in internal auditing/auditing
Experience

5 years Internal auditing/auditing experience. Auditing of management accounts or financial reports advantageous and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors(IISA)
