Personnel Officer Vacancy at the Department of Employment and Labour
Requirements:
Human Resources Management Certificate or Matriculation/Grade 12/Senior Certificate with no experience required. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and Procedures, Human Resources Management Systems (PERSAL), Batho Pele Principles. Employment Equity Act. Public Service Regulations. Skills: Computer literacy. Analytical. Communication. Planning and Organizing.
Duties:
Help facilitate and manage employee benefits. Provide support for recruitment and selection processes. Capture and update all personal information on PERSAL. Answer client inquiries.

All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical competency exercise intended to test relevant technical elements of the job, with logistics to be communicated by the Department. After the interview and technical exercise,
the selection panel will recommend candidates to attend generic managerial competencies using the mandated DPSA SMS competency assessment tools. Internship performance agreements will be signed by the successful candidate.
