The Gauteng Department of Health is seeking applicants for the vacant position of Operator (Photocopier) (Level 2).

  • Package : R107 196 – R126 270 per annum (plus benefits)

Requirements :

Certificate of graduation from grade 12. Ability to interact well with others. Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing). Working knowledge of photocopy machines.

Working under pressure is a skill. A good relationship with customers and good interpersonal relationships. Maintaining confidentiality is a must. Knowledge of computers. An active driver’s license.

Duties :

  • Photocopy machines will be managed and operated as part of your responsibilities.
  • Creating bound and laminated documents. Answer questions at the counter and provide counter services. Ensure that the workplace is organized.
  • If the photocopier machine malfunctions, please report it. The machines should be serviced and maintained regularly.
  • Obtain photocopying materials by making a requisition. Take part in departmental activities related to information management.
  • Assist the campus in fulfilling its vision and mission. Become involved in various committees. Maintain a code of conduct.
