SAIBPP 2024 Bursary Programme. The South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP) welcomes applications for its 2024 Bursary Programme, closing on December 15, 2023.
This initiative, now in its 8th year, aims to facilitate tertiary education access for financially disadvantaged students pursuing property or related studies on a full-time basis.
About SAIBPP
Established in 1996, SAIBPP represents over 2,500 members in the property and built environment sectors.
As a Level 1 B-BBEE non-profit/social benefit company, it addresses the under-representation of black individuals in the commercial property industry through various development programs.

SAIBPP 2024 Bursary Programme
Who Can Apply?
Eligible candidates for the 2024 Bursary Fund include:
- Matric learners starting their 1st year at a South African public university
- Matriculants with university exemption currently employed
- Full-time students enrolled in a relevant South African tertiary institution
- Graduates pursuing postgraduate studies
- Willing to become SAIBPP student members and engage in community outreach
Eligible Courses & Institutions
Bursaries are awarded exclusively for full-time studies in commercial property-related qualifications at select institutions including degrees in property studies, real estate, finance, and related diplomas.
Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Strong academic performance (For matriculants, final Grade 11 and June results)
- Evidence of financial need
