Seriti Recruitment for Socio Economic Development Internship 2023
The primary purpose of this role is to provide a developmental opportunity for candidates to learn about the Social Impact & Reporting function. The successful candidate will undergo a structured development program over 24 months, preparing them for a significant role within Seriti.
They will be responsible for providing accurate business planning, analysis, and reporting to support operations, manage risks, and ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and standards, as well as adherence to corporate governance protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring alignment with and compliance to internal controls, including company values, standards, policies, agreements, systems, and procedures.
- Producing performance and other relevant reports on an operational and management level for the department.
- Preparing and analyzing performance reports, partnership agreements, key performance indicators, and providing input on initiatives to maintain or improve departmental performance.
- Participating in HR and CA projects where appropriate.
- Advocating for internal controls, identifying and reporting on control, governance, and compliance matters.
- Assisting operational and functional teams in performing root cause analysis for areas where controls failed and reviewing control procedures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Participating in initiatives to improve overall performance by optimizing the utilization of existing transformation and compliance processes, best practices, and systems.
Qualifications
Candidates are required to have:
- A National Diploma / Degree in Law (LLB), Business Management, or Social Sciences.
- Good understanding of Project Management.
- Organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong desire to learn and grow.
- Computer skills (MS Office).
- A valid driver’s license.
- In possession of or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness.
Advantageous qualifications or experiences include:
- Any vacation experience or part-time work.
- An understanding of transformation legislative and regulatory requirements.
