The role monitors social media platforms, including strategic external listening and engages with customers and other stakeholders daily to resolve customer complaints in accordance with Customer Services Policy and positively influence the social media community with regards to the Group’s reputation.
To ensure we optimise our service delivery to our customers and align with our teams, this role has a 40-hour work week scheduled according to a planned weekly schedule (any five days from Monday to Sunday (shift work), including public holidays) within legislative requirements.
Qualifications and experience
A degree in Consumer Behavior, Communications, Journalism or equivalent is beneficial.
Experience with social media / communications / social platforms & websites – blogging or operational customer service as well as direct client engagement on social media platforms (essential).
Understand the practicalities and challenges of integrating a social media capability into a customer service environment within the FMCG and retail sector – (essential).
An understanding of social media and brand monitoring tools would be beneficial.
Ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages (beneficial).
