A NQF level 2 (Grade 10) equivalent is required. A valid forklift driver’s license is required. Experience in warehouses and forklifts is required. Knowledge and understanding of inventory control required.

Stores Assistant Vacancy at South Africas Government Printing Works

I have a good understanding of cycle counts, monthly tasks, and annual stock counts. I also have an understanding of transfer orders and journals.

Duties

It is your responsibility to ensure trucks are offloaded and loaded on time. Keep a daily checklist of loaded and received stock. Conduct a daily Forklift Checklist. Operate a forklift within health and safety requirements.

Maintain all cleaning materials and equipment safely. Maintain bin stacking according to safety standards. Pack customer stock into boxes and label them appropriately. Assist with monthly and annual stock counts.

Shortlisted candidates must submit certified copies of their Identity Document, Senior Certificate, and the highest qualification as well as their drivers license before the interview date.

Candidates with foreign qualifications are responsible for submitting SAQA-evaluated results. The Government Printing Works reserves the right not to fill its advertised positions.
