Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit Certified copies of their Identity Document, Grade 12 Certificate, the highest required qualifications, and their driver’s license to Human Resources on or before the interview date. Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by an evaluation report issued by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
Failure to do so may result in your application being disqualified. A foreign qualification must be evaluated by SAQA and proof of the evaluation report must be provided by the applicant (only if shortlisted).
No late applications will be considered. If you wish to apply for more than one post, please submit separate applications for each one. In light of the large number of applications that are anticipated to be received by the Department, applications will not be acknowledged.

The Department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process and to re-advertise the post at any time in the future if, during any stage of the recruitment process, a moratorium is placed on the filling of posts or the Department undergoes any process, including restructuring or reorganization of posts.

Candidates shortlisted will be required to appear for assessments and interviews at a time and date determined by the Department. All shortlisted candidates will be subject to a Personnel Suitability Check. In addition to security vetting, DALRRD will conduct references checks, which may include social media profiles of shortlisted candidates.
In the event that applicants have pending criminal, disciplinary or any other allegations or investigations, they must declare them. If this is discovered during / after the interview, the application will not be considered and, in the unlikely event that the person has been appointed, such appointment will be terminated.
The successful candidate will be appointed subject to positive results of the security clearance process. The successful candidate will be required to enter into an employment contract and sign a performance agreement with the Department.
