Matric Certificate or equivalent with 6-10 years clerical/administration working experience OR Requirements: A recognized REQV13 qualification in Public Administration/Registry Management/ Information Management/ Human Resources/ Personnel Management/Business Management

Relevant qualification 1-2 years administrative experience in Registry department Knowledge of registry duties, mailing, courier services, as well as the ability to capture data and operate a computer.

Work knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Registry’s work such as the NARS Act, the Public Services Act, the POPI Act, etc. Knowledge of the filling of documents, storage and retrieval procedures within the working environment.

Knowledge of policies, directives, and relevant prescriptions, planning and organising, presentation and report writing, Good communication (verbal and written) Code EB / C1 Valid driver’s license.

Duties

I am responsible for ensuring that files are opened and closed according to the appropriate record classification system; filling, storing, tracing, and retrieving documents and pending files; making sure index cards are completed; allocating filing numbers; supervising franking machine usage. The postal articles must be checked on a spot.

Directly supervise the handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence Directly supervise the operation of the office machines in relation to •Supervise the processing of documents for archiving and/or disposal Supervise human resource under your supervision.
