Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the implementation of HR administrative solutions in accordance with agreed work plans.
  • Manage the payroll process, including controls, ensuring data availability, preparing ad hoc reports, and providing technical support.
  • Respond to queries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform data health checks on junior administrators’ transactions.
  • Make sure payroll inputs are accurate, and highlight any inconsistencies or errors.
  • Perform payroll analysis, investigate issues, and correct them.
  • Maintain payroll data records by planning and implementing processes.
  • Ensure that processes are carried out according to Service Level Commitments (SLCs) and the service offering catalogue.
  • Help internal and external auditors with regular audits of payroll data.
  • Prepare ad-hoc/scheduled reports.
  • Support with the coordination of meetings and preparation of documentation.
  • Consult HR and business units about governance and legislative matters.
  • Be the gatekeeper of HR remuneration policies, procedures, processes, and statutory legislation, ensuring that employees are paid on time and accurately.
  • Maintain a regular review of work to ensure that team activities are aligned with the Sasol Group’s policies, conditions of service, wage negotiations, and legislation.
  • Increase awareness of payroll processes and policies.
  • In alignment with the set standards for safe operations, implement evidence-based SHE practices.
  • Implement Sasol Group’s enterprise risk management framework and risk philosophy.
  • Assist HR teams and line managers in enhancing HR service delivery by building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Completion, implementation, and tracking of a personal development plan to reach personal performance goals.

Formal Education

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources or a relevant behavioral science discipline

Min Experience

  • 3+ relevant years
