X17 Various Vacancies at the National Treasury Department of South Africa
As per the DPSA Practice Note, applicants are responsible for ensuring their profiles are completed in the Recruitment system, which is equivalent to the new approved Z83. It will still be necessary to upload certain documents, including copies of all qualifications, including the National Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate, ID, etc.
These documents don’t need to be certified at the moment of application, but they will need to be certified prior to the interview. In order to test the relevant technical elements of the job, all shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise, the details of which will be communicated by the Department.
Prior to finalisation of appointment, candidates must complete the Nyukela Public Service SMS Preentry Programme, endorsed by the National School of Government, which can be found on https://www.thensg.gov.za/trainingcourse/sms-preentry-programme.
Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to all qualifications, criminal and SA citizenship checks, as well as additional checks, as necessary. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all foreign qualifications (including O and A level certificates) are evaluated by SAQA.
The status of your application will appear on the e-Recruitment system. If you do not receive feedback from the National Treasury within three months of the closing date, your application will be deemed unsuccessful. NB: National Treasury reserves the right not to fill the below-mentioned posts, to put a post on hold, and/or to re-advertise the position. It is compliant with POPIA requirements.
