An internship program is an intervention by the City of Johannesburg to address the growing demand by tertiary institutions for students to undergo on-the-job exposure, either as a pre-requisite to acquire an academic qualification or as a requirement after acquiring an academic qualification to acquire experiential training. Work-based training is a priority for the City.

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma in Business Administration/Public Administration (tertiary qualification) at NQF level 6;

To manage the council’s occupational health and safety programs as assigned by the HOD, Group SHE.
