Administration Clerk: Employment Counseling Vacancy at the Department of Employment and Labour

Requirements:

The minimum requirement is Grade 12/ Matriculation. Knowledge: Skills Development Act, Employment Services Act, Public Finance Management Act. Skills: Communication, Computer, Interpersonal, Analysis, Planning.

Duties:

Assist with the psychometric assessment service. Assist with the employment counselling service. Co-ordinate the payment of subsidies to disabled people. Control the movement of documents and stationary within Employment Counselling. Provide procurement support within the Sub-Directorate Counselling. Provide secretariat support within the Sub-Directorate.

All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical competency exercise that will test relevant technical elements of the job.

After the interview and technical exercise, the selection panel will recommend candidates to attend generic managerial competencies using the mandated SMS competency assessment tools by DPSA. An internship performance agreement needs to be signed by the successful candidate.
