ARM is dedicated to attracting and nurturing talented individuals, offering bursaries to University of Pretoria students who have completed their first, second, or third year, as well as those aspiring to pursue Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

The program aims to contribute to skills development and make a positive impact on host communities.

Bursary Coverage

The ARM Bursary will cover various aspects of the students’ academic journey, including registration, tuition fees, accommodation in official institution residences, data allowances, laptops, meals, textbooks, and stipend allowances for Master’s and PhD students.

Bursaries are available for students in the following disciplines:

  • Mining Engineering
  • Built Environment
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Accounting
  • Geology

Bursary Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for the ARM Bursary, applicants must be South African citizens. The selection process may involve panel interviews and psychometric assessments. Existing bursary recipients are excluded from consideration. ARM will only cover costs associated with the granted bursary and will not be responsible for any fees incurred before the bursary is awarded. Academic performance will also be a key consideration.

  • University acceptance letter

Note: In the event that applicants do not receive a response from the company within 21 days after the closing date, their application will be considered unsuccessful.
