Apply for Contact Centre Agent Positions at Lancet Laboratories with Grade 12 Qualification

The Contact Centre Agent is responsible for handling calls from both new and existing customers, addressing a variety of requests.

This role requires a combination of product or service knowledge and excellent customer service skills. The goal is to provide support, offer information, and ensure customer satisfaction to retain business.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification. Tertiary education in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration is preferred.
  • Experience: Over 1 year of relevant working experience, particularly in Debt Collection.
  • Relevant Job Knowledge: Computer literacy is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resolve all queries, obtaining possible payment dates on outstanding accounts to meet departmental targets.
  • Escalate unresolved queries to the back office, team leader, supervisor, or manager for further investigation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating a high level of call centre service and telephone etiquette.
  • Record all client profiles on script and Meditech to ensure seamless record movement within the strategy.
  • Display in-depth knowledge of medical aids and private books to resolve queries.
  • Monitor after-call work time to meet call answering service levels.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for process problems to prevent issues and complaints.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient’s personal data and other information to protect the organization’s privacy and integrity.
