General Workers ensure effective and efficient completion of assigned duties.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned tasks as directed by the Supervisor/Team Leader
- Punctuality and adherence to sober habits
- Handling, loading, and offloading of materials
- Site cleaning, including removal of weeds, stacking materials, sweeping floors, and disposing of excess/rubble materials
- Proficient use of hand tools in the construction environment
- Maintenance and cleaning of tools
- Submission of proof of residential address for the last 3 months, certified ID copy, and certified school report
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies Required
- Minimum Grade 9 or 6 months relevant experience
- Physical fitness and ability to work under adverse weather conditions
- Proficiency in English
- Readiness for extended hours and possible relocation outside the designated depot
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in noisy environments
- Commitment to health and safety regulations
