FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS

• In accordance with customer requirements, deliver products and services.

• Ensure that the work environment is safe and healthy.

• Mining equipment maintenance.

• Ensure that the equipment is being used by the Service Provider.

• Standby

• Fault finding in Diesel equipment

• Team work

• General

• Operators and hired labor must be trained.

• Maintain a fleet of diesel machinery, tractors, and LDVs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The normal pre-employment selection criteria may also include a physical fitness assessment in addition to a pre-employment medical examination.

Qualifications:

• N3 (with Math, Physical Science, and English/Business English)

• Diesel Mechanic Trade Test NQF4

• Valid driver’s license

• Flameproof Certificate

• Gas Testing Certificate

Experience:

• Diesel mechanic with 2-5 years’ experience

• Equipment experience (Diesel machinery, tractors, LDVs)

• Interpretation of engineering drawings and ability to read them
