Capricorn District Municipality Seeks Climate Change Ambassadors. Capricorn District Municipality, in collaboration with the National Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE), is actively seeking six passionate individuals to serve as Climate Change Ambassadors.

Capricorn District Municipality invites applications from qualified unemployed graduates in the field of Environmental Management to partake in a Youth Empowerment and Development Programme spanning a maximum of 18 months.
Eligible graduates residing within all local municipality areas within the district will be considered. The employment period commences upon signing an employment contract, concluding on 31 March 2025, coinciding with the program’s conclusion.
Successful participants will receive a daily remuneration of R224.00.
About Capricorn District Municipality
Capricorn, established in 2000 as a Category B municipality, lies at the heart of the Limpopo Province in the Northern side of South Africa.
Predominantly rural, the District Municipality comprises five local municipalities—Aganang, Blouberg, Lepelle-Nkumpi, Molemole, and Polokwane. These municipalities differ significantly in terms of socio-economic development levels.

Job Requirements
To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess qualifications in Environmental Management.
- Be a South African citizen with a valid SA Identity Document.
- Reside within the jurisdiction of Capricorn District Municipality.
- Be under the age of 35.
