Finance Administration Clerk Post at the Department of Higher Education and Training
Requirements:
It is desirable to have a minimum of one year experience in a finance environment. An understanding of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury regulations will be an added advantage.
Duties:
Work with the Occupational Programmes on project reconciliation, learner stipend payments and procurement for Occupational Programmes. The issue of invoices to funders and the follow-up on their payments, the filing of the project documents for audit purposes, and the sourcing of quotations according to
National Treasury guidelines. Receive and assess quotations to ensure that they comply with the minimum requirements and procedures of SCM Ensure proper filling and safekeeping of documents.
Ensure timely payment processing to suppliers. Receiving and issuing stock items. Preparing requests for invoices from funders and following up on their payments. Perform other duties as delegated by the Supervisor.
