Fraser Alexander Seeks General Workers to Elevate Mining Excellence

The primary goal of this role is to fulfill operational objectives related to tailings deposition, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Targets: Collaborate with the team leader or supervisor to achieve planned operational goals.
2. Daily Inspections: Conduct daily inspections in designated areas of responsibility.
3. Tailings Management: Plan and manage tailings materials on-site and at depositing areas.
4. Problem Solving: Assist in resolving operational challenges and promptly report any deviations to the immediate supervisor.
5. Adherence: Strictly adhere to the company’s Policies and Procedures, including disciplinary procedures.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and rules in alignment with safety legislation and company protocols.
7. Pipeline Operations: Extend and connect pipelines and operate valves in accordance with operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate: A Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent.
• Tailings Experience: Background or at least 2 years of experience in tailings dam operation or related mining industry work would be advantageous.

• Overtime: Willingness to work overtime as needed.
