General Assistant Role at Aspen Holdings
Aspen focuses on manufacturing and marketing a diverse range of post-patent, branded medicines, and domestic brands across hospital and consumer markets, operating through various key business segments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overview
- Prepare, clean, and inspect work areas and equipment.
- Handle and stage raw materials.
- Sample work areas and equipment for contamination.
- Sanitize drains and pipes to prevent contamination.
- Perform related administrative tasks.
Operational Support
- Execute production activities adhering to established policies, practices, quality, and safety standards.
- Optimize work processes and identify procedural gaps.
- Facilitate process implementation in the assigned work area.
Inspections & Verifications
- Conduct visual inspections of production areas and equipment.
- Perform pre-production checks as per SOP and product specifications.
- Verify scale and measuring equipment performance.
Material Handling
- Dispense, transfer, weigh, and collect raw materials for processing.
- Ensure proper staging of raw materials for processing.
Production Preparation
- Set up rooms and IBCs for production activities.
- Prepare solutions as per SOP for production activities.
Routine Support Tasks
- Clean work areas and equipment before and after material processing.
- Perform routine equipment checks and sample collection.
- Control contamination and assist in minimizing waste.
- Provide necessary information for campaign preparation.
Reporting & Record Keeping
- Complete batch record labels and OEE sheets.
- Conduct half-hourly inspections of production areas.
- Attend shift meetings and contribute to report completion.
- Maintain and update records and systems as required.
Requirements
- National Certification (N3 Engineering) with 0-2 years’ related experience.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Competencies

- Basic technical knowledge of pharmaceutical production processes, procedures, systems, and equipment.
- Fundamental understanding of pharmaceutical standards and compliance requirements.
